Many people advocate bio oil for stretch marks and it is widely sold for this purpose alone.
Stretch marks should not stress you out, they are part of being pregnant and may simply be unavoidable for many women. While you can apply cocoa butter and other creams to help stop any skin irritation caused by the skin stretching, one can but live in hope that they will actually prevent the marks.

Cocoa butter however is a good investment. It has been demonstrated that if you use cocoa butter regularly both during and after your pregnancy, this may at least reduce the appearance of the stretch marks. Sometimes they will eliminate them – but don’t hold your breath as you may not be so lucky!
You can also help to control your stretch marks by eating the right kinds of food. Eat a healthy diet while you are pregnant so your skin gets all the nutrients it needs. Eating the right food will also help to keep a watch on your weight. Weight gain can increase the size of the stretch marks.
